Das Bohrloch nach Neuseeland wird am Sonntag den 23. September um 11:30 Uhr in Löhne/Ostwestfalen auf dem Hof Bröer, Bültestrasse 132 eröffnet.
The Borehole to New Zealand will be officially opened on the 23rd of September at 11:30 a.m. in Löhne on the Bröer farmyard, Bültestrasse 132.

Das erste Projekt von Ralf Witthaus‘ Internationaler Rasenschau beginnt in Ostwestfalen-Lippe auf dem Bauernhof Bröer in Löhne und endet am anderen Ende der Welt: Im Botanischen Garten von Auckland. Das Bohrloch nach Neuseeland ist ein Projekt im Vorlauf der Ausstellung „Nutzflächen – OWL3“ im Marta Herford (2013). Witthaus wird mit seinem Team zwei kreisrunde Zeichnungen mit je 92 Metern Durchmesser in den Rasen schneiden und die Landschaft auf der anderen Seite der Welt spiegeln.
The first project of Ralf Witthaus’ International Lawn Show starts in Eastern-Westfalia on the Bröer Farm in Löhne and ends on the other side of the world: In the Auckland Botanic Gardens. The Borehole to New Zealand is a part of the “Nutzflächen – OWL3” Exhibition at the Marta Herford Museum (2013). Witthaus and his team will cut two circular drawings in the grass, both having a 92-meter diameter, which mirror the landscape on the other side of the world.

Die Zeichnung wächst in ca. zwei Wochen wieder zu. The drawing will be grown away after two weeks.

Das Projekt entsteht in Zusammenarbeit mit Marta Herford und dem Kulturbüro Löhne.
